Springer Publishing's Antipiracy Efforts
Springer Publishing Company is dedicated to protecting our authors and our content from online piracy. The recent rise in peer-to-peer file sharing sites, as well as the increasing use of electronic book files, has made it easy for whole communities to obtain and share unauthorized copies of our books. This illegal distribution of copyrighted materials hurts our authors and our business. So we are dedicated to monitoring the web and eradicating infringing material whenever we find it.
If you find what you believe is an unauthorized copy of a Springer Publishing Company book online, please fill out the form below. We will promptly investigate and, if warranted, will issue a takedown notice requiring that the material be removed from the site. Such takedown notices generally achieve the desired result, and infringing material is typically taken down within a short time frame. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop unauthorized users from re-posting content. Thus, tracking and responding to piracy is an ongoing endeavor that we take seriously.
We appreciate your help in joining us to eliminate online piracy. If you have any questions or comments about our anti-piracy efforts, please write to piracy@springerpub.com.
