"As a practicing Nurse Practitioner, I have found it a challenge and a privilege to help patients who fall into two of the most feared categories in medicine; obstetrics and lactation. Special consideration must be taken with all medications consumed during pregnancy and lactation to ensure that both mother and baby are safe while receiving necessary medical treatment.
