5 Things to Do the Night Before the Exam
You've done it all to prepare for your exam but now it's the night before the exam and you're suddenly in a panic! Should you cram all night? What should you prepare for a smooth morning? Have no fear! Arrive at your exam cool, calm, and collected by following these 5 simple steps the night before!
- Avoid eating a heavy meal or consuming alcoholic drinks the night before the exam. Avoid eating 3 to 4 hours before bedtime, which prevents heartburn.
- Get enough sleep. Getting adequate sleep is one of the most important things you can do to help you pass the exam, aim for 8 hours.
- If you are scheduled to take your exam in the morning, set two alarms to wake up on time. Give yourself extra time if it is a weekday to account for traffic.
- Ensure that you have your ID and the test date confirmation information to take along with you.
- Know your route to the testing center and plan for extra time to get there.
If you choose to study the night before, just do a light brush-up on your areas of concern and don't forget to eat a nice, healthy breakfast! Read our tips for during the exam too and, most importantly, good luck!
